Description
🔸 Product Introduction
- AS-8655 is a premium release agent specially formulated for mirror-like finishes on fair-faced concrete – the type of architectural concrete where surface aesthetics are paramount. After demolding, concrete surfaces appear smooth, glossy, and uniformly colored – comparable to a polished mirror, with minimal surface imperfections. It significantly reduces common defects such as air voids (bug-holes) and stains, delivering a surface so refined that secondary finishing is often unnecessary.
- Suitable for steel, wood, and aluminum molds.
- Environmentally friendly: non-toxic, odorless, corrosion-resistant, rust-proof, and free from petroleum safety hazards.
- After demolding, concrete surfaces appear evenly colored, smooth, and low in bubbles.
- High dilution ratio: can be diluted 15–18 times with water, offering excellent cost performance.
- Packaging: 20 kg/50kg/200kg/1000kg per drum.
Product Performance
- Appearance: Milky white liquid
- PH value: Neutral (7–8)
- Storage stability: Stable, ready-to-use on site
- Demolding effect: Easy release, smooth surface
- Residue on concrete: ≤3.0g/m², no damage to steel molds
- Water resistance: Good resistance to rainwater washing
Method of Application
- Dilution Ratios:
- Aluminum mold: 1:15
- Stainless mold:1:18 (Marble Mirror Effect)
- Steel mold: 1:15
- Wooden mold: 1:15
Stir well before mixing with water.
- Example (Steel mold):
Mix 1 part release agent with 15 parts water. Pour into a sprayer and stir evenly. Spray onto mold surface, ensuring even coverage. After spraying and a short wait (10–30 minutes), proceed with concrete pouring. If surface powdering occurs, increase dilution ratio to 1:16 for better results.
Attention to Construction
- Always follow recommended dilution ratios; do not spray on wet molds.
- Spray only after the release agent is thoroughly applied and mold surface is dry.
Note: After spraying, mold surfaces may appear untreated. Do not wipe. The release agent creates an invisible film. If unsure, perform a spot spray test. Capture video to check smoothness and shine—adjust as needed for optimal results.
🔸 Product Performance
- Appearance: Milky white liquid; pH: Neutral (7–8).
- Emulsion stability: Stable emulsion, recommended for immediate use.
- Demolding effect: Easy release with smooth concrete surfaces and a clean finish.
- Mold adhesion: <3.0g/㎡; Corrosion resistance: No corrosion to steel molds.
- Water resistance: Good performance against rinsing by water.
🔸 Method of Application
- Dilution ratio: Steel molds—1:7 with water. Shake well before diluting.
- Example (for steel/glass fiber molds): Mix 1 part of release agent with 7 parts water. Mix thoroughly. Use a sprayer to apply evenly to the mold surface. Do not over-spray. Once a thin film has formed, concrete can be poured.
- Tip: If demolded surface shows powder or lacks gloss, adjust dilution ratio upward (e.g. 1:8) to achieve desired effect.
🔸 Attention to Construction
- Uniform Application: For projects like water-based flue ducts, spray release agent on multiple molds at once. Start pouring concrete after completing spraying on all molds to ensure consistency.
- Fly ash mixes: Can be demolded directly after spraying.
- Cement mortar: Must wait until demolding agent dries before pouring.
- Visual Check: After spraying, inspect mold surface to ensure coverage. Record inspection to verify full application and ensure smooth demolding.
