🧪 Product Introduction

SY-8139 building formwork gloss agent is a water-soluble, nonionic release additive, used in the manufacturing of plywood, decorative panels and building formwork. It can increase the surface gloss by 40-60%, improve the demolding efficiency, reduce adhesive defects and enhance wear resistance. It is compatible with phenolic resin and urea-formaldehyde resin systems and is widely used by plywood and laminate manufacturers seeking higher surface quality and production efficiency

🛠️ Method of Application

• For phenolic resin systems
  After the phenolic resin or adhesive is prepared, SY-8139 is directly added to the reactor.
  Stir thoroughly to ensure uniform dispersion.
  This product can also be added to the impregnation mixing tank together with other additives.
  Recommended dosage: Approximately 1% of the total weight of the adhesive.
  Adjust the dosage according to production requirements and the desired gloss.
• For urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin systems
  Add SY-8139 directly to the prepared UF resin adhesive.
  Mix evenly until a uniform solution is obtained.
  Recommended dosage: Approximately 1% of the total weight of the resin.
  The dosage can be adjusted according to the resin viscosity, plate type and surface finish requirements.

  Recommended processing conditions

  Make sure the adhesive system is thoroughly mixed before use.
  Conduct small-scale trials before large-scale production.
  Maintain the standard production temperature and curing conditions.
  Continuous stirring is recommended for mass production.

Storage and Handling

• Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.
• Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
• Protect from direct sunlight and freezing conditions.
• Shelf life: 12 months under recommended storage conditions.
