Product Overview

AS-113A is an economical, versatile, and highly efficient hydrophobically modified alkali-swellable associative thickener (HASE). It can fully or partially replace medium/high molecular weight cellulose and traditional ASE/HASE thickeners.
With a thickening efficiency 3.5 times that of standard ASE series, AS-113A features a stable molecular network structure that ensures no post-thickening.
It delivers excellent low-shear viscosity, anti-settling, and anti-sagging performance, while significantly enhancing color development and workability in coatings and inks.

Usage Instructions

• Adjust pH to alkaline (recommended pH ≈ 8.5) to achieve optimal thickening performance
• pH will drop slightly after addition; readjust if necessary
• For high-shear mixing, add directly; for low-speed mixing, dilute with water at a ratio of 1:1–1:5 before adding
• Typical dosage: 0.5–2.0% (as supplied) in paints and inks; higher levels for adhesives and sealants

• Storage temperature: 5–35°C (recommended 10–35°C)
